I have been in the healing profession since the late 90's. I trained in Clinical Hypnotherapy
and Psychology at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy, an Institute which is highly respected in the field of hypnotherapy.
I am also qualified in advanced Hypnoanalysis, and an NLP practitioner.
I use different techniques including, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), analytical hypnotherapy,
suggestion therapy, guided imagery, and psychology, as every person is completely different so my approach has to meet
individual needs, there is no one fix cures all!
I am also a Senior Lecturer for Chrysalis
Courses, I currently lecture at the University of East Anglia, and the Conference centre in Kesgrave. I teach the first year
of a 3 year hypnotherapy and counselling diploma course, and on average teach approximately 100 students per year.
I am always striving to offer my
clients the best therapy and I always research new techniques in the field of hypnotherapy and healing, and
I am always continuing to train with professional development.
I am the
co-founder of Fertility2birth and have written the HypnoBirth program, which empowers women to have the natural
labour and birth that mother nature intended and as pain free as possible. After many years working in a busy maternity
department and having delivered and been witness to the birth of many babies, I realised that there were vast differences
in the mother's labour when she was frightened and out of control, to those women that were calm and relaxed. So
with my clinical knowledge the knowledge of being a qualified hypnotherapist and a mum, the Fertility2birth's Hypnobirth
program was born.
Along with my colleague Juliet, I have also co written the HypnoGastricBand procedure
of which more details can be found on that page of this site.
I work
from my practice on the Moreton Hall in Bury St Edmunds, and under certain circumstances it can be arranged for me
to visit you in your own home. For Hypnobirth, sessions can be held at my practice or in the comfort of your own home, which
seem's more convenient for couples that already have small children.
I am a member of The National Hypnotherapy Society, and I am fully insured.
and I am also registered with the Hypnotherapist
register,
